2 Days Awash National Park
Overview
This 2 day trip takes you from Addis Ababa to Awash National Park, one of Ethiopia’s best wildlife destinations. You will travel through scenic landscapes, spotting volcanic formations, valleys, and small villages along the way. In Awash National Park, you will explore diverse wildlife, including gazelles, baboons, and oryx, and visit the stunning Awash Falls, a beautiful waterfall in the park.
On the second day, a morning safari will give you a chance to see more animals in their natural habitat before heading back to Addis Ababa. Along the return journey, you can stop in Bishoftu, a town famous for its beautiful lakes, where you can relax and enjoy a lakeside meal. Your trip will end with wonderful memories of nature, wildlife, and Ethiopia’s breathtaking landscapes.

Itinerary
Day 1: ADDIS ABABA – AWASH NATIONAL PARK
You will start your journey from Addis Ababa and travel to Awash National Park. The drive will take you through beautiful landscapes, including volcanic mountains and valleys. Along the way, you can stop for lunch and enjoy the view. Once you arrive at Awash, you will explore the park, which is home to many animals like baboons, gazelles, and oryx. You will also see the famous Awash Falls, a stunning waterfall inside the park. In the evening, you can relax at your accommodation and enjoy the peaceful surroundings.

Day 2: AWASH NATIONAL PARK – ADDIS ABABA
You will wake up early for a morning safari in Awash National Park. This is the best time to see wildlife, as many animals are active in the morning. After the safari, you will start your journey back to Addis Ababa. On the way, you can stop at Bishoftu, a town known for its beautiful lakes. Here, you can have lunch by the lakeside and enjoy the view. After lunch, you will continue your drive and arrive in Addis Ababa in the late afternoon, ending your trip with wonderful memories.
